With effect from June 2017 BCIX has appointed Christian Kröger as its first full-time managing director together with the two honorary CEOs Cordula Fiedler and Peter Lampe. BCIX thus takes account of its great success and growth, which no longer allows a purely voluntary management of the technical operation.

In 2014 the 43-year-old Christian Kröger has already joined the board of directors of BCIX e.V. as CTO and has been confirmed at the general meeting’s election in 2016.

Christian Kröger, who was born in sunny Bad Oldesloe, began his commercial career as a branch manager of XCOM AG in Berlin. In this position, he coached banks, insurance companies, companies in the advertising sector as well as political associations, on the subject of IT security, system operation as well as on further topics.

After joining ORCO Germany S.A. (later GSG Berlin S.A.) in 2006, he took over the responsibility for the IT operations of all group subsidiaries and merged the IT structures of three business units. In 2009, he designed GSG’s current network and became the managing director of Hofnetz- und IT-Services GmbH.

In the middle of 2017, Christian Kröger resigned from the management of Hofnetz and has now been appointed as Managing Director of BCIX Management GmbH, initially in part-time. Besides he is active as consultant in the network and carrier industry.

Christian Kröger is married, father of two sons and lives in the quiet Hohen Neuendorf north of Berlin.
