Akamai will upgrade it’s peering capacity at BCIX to 40Gbps and will be the first member with a 4*10Gbps link aggregated 40Gbps connection at the Berlin Commercial Internet Exchange. Akamai has an open peering policy and is also connected to the BCIX route server with IPv4 and IPv6.
